Cardiff Mini Film Fest: Music Edition Screening, 23 Nov 2014 at Ten Feet Tall from 6pm
Jake Goddard works alongside Chris Axworthy to form Kustom Media, using their contacts in the South Wales music scene.
“Over the years our team has grown and we’ve become a coalition of filmmakers of about 10 in size working on all sorts of different projects under the umbrella of Kustom Media, and we’re currently in pre-production for our first feature film, which will be a post apocalyptic film set in the Welsh mountains, which will hopefully be going into production in spring of next year. “ – Jake Goddard
Kustom Media’s entry for the Mini Film Fest is a video for the track ‘Illuminate’ by El Parisa.
“Our video is for the very Talented ‘El Parisa’ and the track is entitled ‘Illuminate’. I first heard the song being played by a local Radio DJ and thought it was amazing and had to find out who it was by, I was amazed to learn it was by a local and unsigned artist.”
“The track is such a deep and experimental style that we knew we needed something special, and Chris did a great job at coming up with the concept that fits the music perfectly and I’m so proud of the amount of work and effort he and the rest of our team put into it. “ – Jake Goddard

The Mini Film Festival gives a platform to filmmakers working with a budget of under £500. The judge for this year’s music edition of the festival, Daf Palfrey, the Superfurry Animal’s music video Director, will choose the best videos at a evening of screenings.
Jake Goddard from local music production company Kustom Media said,
“Cardiff’s a great City with a lot going on but I find sometimes that we’re slightly lacking in terms of Film activities. The Mini Film Fest is great as it brings filmmakers together and builds a real sense of community within the cities film scene. “
Not only do the awards give local filmmakers a chance to showcase their work, the screening provides an opportunity to network with independent creatives.
