A venue in Cathays has organised a fundraiser in remembrance of hit-and-run victim Karina Menzies
On the 23 November, Koko Gorilaz will play host to an event, which aims to raise money for Karina Menzies, a mother-of-three who was killed in a series of hit and runs in Ely.
It is a music event, which will feature DJ’s such as Donna Z, Beatboxfozzy and Temphah. There will also be a raffle, the winners of which will receive champagne, make-up and more.
Jay Shah, the owner of Koko Gorilaz, is offering his services for free. Mr Shah says that, “People are just trying their level best to make the event successful, and I hope people will donate more for this sad thing.”
