After Christmas it’s hard to resist those January blues, which is why local music venue The Moon Club is offering a whole 28 days of free bands to cheer everybody up.
The Moon Club was born out of the downstairs The Full Moon in 2011 by, says co-founder Owen Bowley, “A collection of passionate music fans.” It offers fans a friendly setting in which to enjoy good rum and great bands.
January’s festival takes place every year and is a way of The Moon Club saying a big thank you to its supporters.
“We do our best to start the year off for everyone in the best possible way we can,” says Owen, “hopefully setting up the year with ongoing good vibes for everyone involved.”
