Llanover Hall hosts an evening called ‘Make-Up Made-Up & Model Material’ every Thursday for budding models, makeup artists and fashion designers to develop their talent.
The classes are a hit with young people in Cardiff, with success stories of one student gaining a place at London College of Fashion and another auditioning for Britain’s Next Top Model.
The idea was first suggested by Heledd Jones, 25, who already has a success story in fashion.
After winning a chance to showcase her designs in Paris with BBC Blast six years ago her passion has remained strong, “Ideally I would love to work with young students and fashion everyday as it can be quite a dangerous industry. But here they can practice their ideas in a safe environment.”
