Residents of Cardiff were served up a portion of modern Italian dining last Monday as new restaurant Svago opened its doors to the public.
Offering both lunchtime and evening menus, the restaurant hopes to offer something for everyone, from a light coffee in the morning to a decadent cocktail in the evening. It aims to provide a relaxed, stylish dining experience, offering authentic dishes such as stone baked pizza made with fresh, handmade dough.
Samantha Presdee-Hughes, personal assistant to owner Nader Hamzelou, believes that Svago has filled a gap in the market for a stylish Italian restaurant in Cardiff. She says, “We wanted something a bit different, not too up-market but not your average Italian restaurant”.
Svago can be found at 153-155 Crwys Road.
