The mid Wales Beer festival runs from 14 – 23 November 2014.
The festival also runs a couple of fringe events:
The Real Ale Wobble, 15th-16th November, is a non-competitive mountain biking event for riders of all abilities. Trails vary from 15 to 35 miles long, through the Cambrian Mountains. Free pints of real ale from the local Heart of Wales Brewery are provided at check points along the way.
The Real Ale Ramble, 22nd-23rd November, is similar to the Wobble but for walkers. Think of it as a pub crawl through the Welsh country side. Routes begin in the town centre and are slightly shorter.
Llanwrtyd Wells is on the Heart of Wales train line, a scenic journey that runs through the mountainous countryside between Llanelli and Shrewsbury.

The people of mid Wales are celebrating the best brewing talents from around the country.
One of Britain’s smallest towns, Llanwrtyd Wells, will be playing host to its annual Mid Wales Beer Festival this November.
Many pubs participate in this long established festival, including the Neuadd Arms Hotel, who say they will be celebrating for the 31st year in a row.
The festival will feature around 140 beers from all over Wales and is a true showcase of Welsh brewing talent.
A variety of live music performances are on offer during the weekends, with a quieter atmosphere during the week for those who like to concentrate on their ale.
Lindsay Ketteringham, owner of the Neuadd Arms said, “There’s an absolutely tremendous atmosphere and the whole town gets booked up, which is one of the main points of the festival. It really helps to boost the small town’s economy.”
