Gwdihw has been part of Cardiff’s alternative music scene since it opened. Now the cafe-bar is launching Songbook, a series of events that give audiences a chance to hear the creative processes involved in song writing.
The line-up features local, unsigned musicians Joe Bayliss, Eve Goodman, Geraint Rhys and Skunk-Boy Project.
Eve Goodman says, “I’m looking forward to sharing my experience of the writing process with the audience, because it’s such a huge part of what I do. I’ll try to be as honest as I can about writing, which is my therapy.”
Songbook is set to be a relaxed night of great songwriting along with explanations about how the songs came about and what they mean to the artists.
