Ten Mill Lane offeres a large array of Cocktails. Luke was kind enough to give us a private lesson of how to make the perfect Daiquiri.
1. First you need 50 ml of Havana Club 3.
2. Next you need to add 25 ml of Lime Juice and 25 ml of simple syrup (sugar and water).
3. Then you need to Shake the Cocktail.
4. Finally you need to strain into a chilled Coupette glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel and there you have it, a perfect Daiquiri.
Ten Mill Lane, a popular cocktail bar in Cardiff, are now hosting evening where customers can learn the art of cocktail making. The bar which opened earlier this year has already built up a great reputation and now customers can learn some of the skill that have made the establishment so popular.
The ‘Mini Mojito Master Class’ is open to any group of 10 people or more . During the events one of Ten Mill Lane’s bar staff will give a live demonstration of how to prepare the cocktail as well as giving a brief history of the drink.
We spoke to Luke Bennett, a bar tender at Ten Mill lane about what people can expect when they take part in the event. “We will give you a bucket of anything you need to make a Mojito. Rum, mint, lime, sugar, soda water and even some fun garnishes. We will teach you how to make the best one in Cardiff.”
