You’d be barking mad to miss Crwys Road’s newest café. Serving up treats for both canines and their owners, The Doggy Deli and Barkery offers an experience that you won’t find anywhere else in Wales.
Having opened its doors at the end of November, the café views its customers and their poochy pals as equals and caters to the needs and tastes of both. Representing the first of its kind in not only Cardiff but the nation as a whole, the deli offers dog owners a space where they can relax with other like-minded individuals.
“Most diners don’t want dogs running around, but we adore them” explains owner Leanne Couch, “if you don’t love dogs then this isn’t the cafe for you!”
You can find the deli inside Cathays-based Mucky Pups.
