An art exhibition based on Cardiff’s contemporary circus NoFit State is to be held at the Martin Tinney Gallery until the 28 November.
NoFit State celebrates its 30th anniversary next year and they are currently the UK’s leading large scale contemporary circus.
Harry Holland is widely acknowledged as one of Britain’s finest figurative painters and has exhibited all around the world. Painting since the 1970’s, Harry has had over 30 solo exhibitions and his work has received great critical and commercial success.
Harry says the inspiration came when he saw a performance and was “Entranced by the spatial and corporeal activity, both explosive and linear, and could see new directions for me in terms of composition and colour.”
