Filmmaker and activist Rehad Desai leads climate talks in Cardiff
On 17 November, Transport House will be hosting a climate change talk as Climate Justice for Africa arrives for the Cardiff leg of its UK tour.
Ahead of the UN climate talks in South Africa early next month, South African film maker and activist Rehad Desai will be speaking about the key issues of climate change.
Co-sponsored by Campaign against Climate Change and public sector trade unions PCS and UCU, the tour has been orchestrated with the view to bring together trade unionists and environmentalists to discuss possible solutions to the climate crisis.
Cardiff Coordinator Adam Johannes explains, “it is so important that we build a social movement that brings together environmentalists and organised labour as a battering ram to break down the wall and deliver climate justice”.
