Treat yourselves to a very merry pre-Christmas special brought to you by the popularly feted Wright’s Food Emporium!
Switch up your thanksgiving pants to a pair slightly larger because come this December Wright’s Food Emporium have a lot to offer.
They will be hosting a pop-up shop that will boast a fine selection of their famous Catsup, Chutneys and granola, along with a rare array of craft beers.
To give it a festive feel, Wright’s will also be offering some natural Wright’s Wines and delicious goods straight from their favourite Welsh producers. Although there will be no cooked food for sale, you can devour plates of great cheese, charcuterie and breads.
The pop-up will be open to customers from 1 December to 23 December. It will take place in The Balcony, Castle Arcade.
Section head of marketing and events, Lisa Corcoran says “Cardiff is a brilliant city and we are excited to bring a part of Wright’s in the form of a pop-up shop to Castle Arcade for the Christmas build up.
However, that’s not all: February 2018 will see a permanent venue of Wright’s in the same location. Although this will be a small offshoot of Wright’s with not much on the food front, Wright’s Wines will be the first exclusively natural wine shop in Cardiff, with wines you can enjoy on the premises or take-away.
Restaurateur Simon Wright, who transformed a former pub into the restaurant, delicatessen and wine shop that is Wright’s today, says: “One way or another I’ve spent a lot of time in Cardiff over the years and I’ve always hoped we might do something there one day.
“This is a tiny, toe in the water but it’s exciting to be doing it and be in the mix with the other exciting stuff happening food and drink wise in the city.”
