Harry Potter fans will be battling it out at DEPOT on the 1 December in the Great Big Harry Potter Quiz.
As the event name suggest, the quiz will be Harry Potter themed. The quiz follows the recent release of Fantastic Beasts and where to find them: The Crimes of Grindelwald, the latest film in the Harry Potter franchise, which was released last week.
Quiz master and events manager Nathan Jones says that the quiz will be a “large scale interactive quizzing experience”.
Tickets cost 30 muggle pounds for a team of 6. Teams buy their tickets for a certain house; Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to dress up in their house colours.
Nathan says that he was inspired to host the event after hosting smaller themed quizzes at a smaller venue and was inspired by their popularity to host larger scale events. The quiz has been held at DEPOT for the last 2 years and the venue will be decorated in the style of the great hall.
Brain Trust Quizzes, the host of the event, will try and make the experience as authentic as possible and as well as the decorations and costumes Nathan says that they are trying to have sweets, street food and themed cocktails. This might be the closest that many will get to gracing the halls of Hogwarts so it will be an event not to be missed.
Nathan said, “people should come to the event because the quiz is for true Potter fans who want to test their knowledge in a fully immersive and interactive environment”
Brain Trust Quizzes will also be hosting a similar quiz in Bristol on the 11 December, so if fans miss out on this chance to prove themselves, they do not have to miss out.
