Local businesses are getting involved in this year’s food fair
This year’s Festive Food Fair at Chapter Arts Centre will see the inclusion of local independent businesses.
There will be a mixture of companies and independent local businesses at the food fair this December. The event, which takes place on Saturday 10 December 11am-6pm, will showcase local, organic and ethically produced food that is centred around the festive season.
Front of house operations manager Abigail Lawrence said, “It’s all about eating seasonally and eating locally.”
Local companies such as Cardiff Herb Company and Hipo Hyfryd will have stalls selling potted herb plants, infusions of tea, chocolate bars and truffles. The event will also hold workshops such as hedgerow hamper making, gingerbread man decorating and a low carbon cook-off, using recycled washing machines as cookers.
