Enjoy crafting workshops at Made by Hand festival
If you’re feeling crafty and itching to try something new then unique craft fair, Made By Hand, is the place to be.
The event, which runs from 2-4 December, will aptly take place in Tredegar House, Newport’s beautiful 17th-century mansion, and exhibit the work of 150 inspirational designers from across the UK.
Sarah James, project manager for Made by Hand, said crafting is about enjoying simple pleasures and the event provides the opportunity to take part in a variety of workshops. From embroidery and beadwork to making buttons and bunting, there’s something to entice everyone.
Sarah was approached by Newport City Council to organise the fair, which is now in its second year. “The event has really captured people’s imaginations and I have great pride that it’s in Wales,” she said.
