Music Geek Monthly presents an immersive listening experience

On Saturday December 10, Music Geek Monthly is hosting its monthly listening event at Chapter, where a classic and a newly released album, will be played in full.
It is like a book club, but with music. At a monthly meeting, the members of Music Geek Monthly vote on a classic and a newly released album to be played at a later date, and this month the group will be listening to Wire’s classic 1979 album 154, followed by Thee Oh Sees’ Carrion Crawler.
Aside from listening to the albums in full, organiser Andrew Jones explains on the MGM website that at the event, “People can review new albums in a ‘hit, miss or maybe’ format.”
The listening event is free and starts at 15.30 in Chapter Arts.
