Why did the Printhaus launch Snapped Up?
“We started snapped up as a way to illustrate to the public the design and craft involved in making the lovely pieces on sale. This will hopefully make the general public that attend appreciate the hard work and skill that goes into every piece on sale from our sale holders.”
Where does the money go?
All the money made at the Printhaus is put back into the workshop so Tom said that without the support from the artists and general public, they wouldn’t be able to do it. “I would like to say a massive thank you to all of the artists.” Said Tom.
The event
The event runs from 11am to 6pm and there are 50 free posters available to give away to the first few customers through the door. Tickets are free and can register on Evernbite.

Printhaus Workshop are holding their annual event Snapped Up, which encourages visitors to have a go at creating something unique, as well as showcasing the work of the 15 resident artists.
“We try and have as many have a go activities on the day from t-shirt and tote bag printing to making a silver ring or even a leather wallet.” said organiser Tom.
“Each market has its own theme,” he explained, “and this is reflected in the designs of the t-shirts that you can print.”
