The Rhiwbina Camera Club does not expect members to be of a particular standard of photography or own a particular type of camera. All they ask is that you have a passion for photography.
The club is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain through the Welsh Photographic Federation. This provides the opportunity for the members to take part in external competitions, enter the Welsh Salon of Photography or even gain a qualification with one of their affiliated bodies.

Photography enthusiasts can look forward to a Christmas social with the Rhiwbina Camera Club this December.
Guests are encouraged to bring pictures that they have taken for the rest of the group to discuss over canapés.
Club Treasurer Peter Donovan said, “The social is a great opportunity for people to discuss their photography skills within a friendly and fun environment. I think it’s a great idea for people to bring along their pictures so they can receive suggestions on how they can be improved.”
Established in 1958, the club aims to satisfy the needs of amateur photographers through a wide range of meetings and activities covering both film and digital photography.
The social will be held at the Canolfan Beulah Church Community Centre on the 13 December at 7.30pm.
The club has a number of helpful videos on their website of how to take better pictures such as this one by Alison Lewis.
