The upcoming Cardiff Film and Comic Con will be held on October 24 – 25 at the Motorpoint Arena, is expected to draw costumed fans by the hundreds.
Taking place between 9am and 6pm, the event will also cater to those wanting to be heroes (or villains) for the day, cosplayers in bright costumes, by having a special cosplay zone.
This two-day celebration of people from TV and movies, comic book contributors, and even wrestlers, isn’t just about meeting celebrities or getting insights and autographs.
Conner Roderick, a Motorpoint Arena spokesperson, said, “The line for entry (last time) stretched around the block, filled with cosplayers.” With Motorpoint Arena’s total capacity of about 4,000 people, it is no wonder over a thousand cosplayers are expected to be in attendance.
