Jim’s experience is second place on Tripadvisor’s ‘attractions in Cardiff’ list:
The walks only cost £5 when booking in advance and finish at the end of November when the weather becomes too bad to continue. You can add a two-course Twilight supper at the Mulberry Street restaurant for £15 (which includes the walk).
Jim also runs other walks around Cardiff which can be discovered on the website.
Get spooked on a Cardiff Ghost and History Walk
Take a two hour walk through field, forest, and Coffin Alley in Llandaff to discover spooky happenings, an imposing cathedral, and old graveyards, all narrated by storyteller extraordinaire, Jim Cowan.
The first walk happened two years ago, and nobody turned up. Yet today Jim says he is turning people away. Jim is not a medium or Cardiff’s answer to Derek Acorah, but he is a wonderfully enthusiastic storyteller who captivates an audience with ease.
Whether you believe in the supernatural or not, the walks provide the chance to experience a wholly different aspect of an area, and to learn some fascinating information.
As Jim himself says, “There’s atmosphere, history, and a hell of a lot of ghosts. This is theatre in the dark.”
