Cardiff Castle opens its doors to Wales Rally GB
The city centre will be alive with the sound of roaring engines as Wales Rally GB makes itself at home in Cardiff Castle from 10-13 November.
The free Rallyfest event will welcome the cars on Saturday evening as they drive along St Mary Street before staying in the castle grounds overnight. The podium celebrations will also take place there on Sunday afternoon.
Andrew Coe, chief executive of the organising body of Wales Rally GB, said, “Rally fans from across the world always receive such a warm welcome from Cardiff and we look forward to a fabulous spectacle this year.”
Amongst other attractions, there will be a big screen where spectators can watch the action, and an autograph signing with the star drivers on Saturday night.
