Calon Yarns are asking men to get creative this Christmas
A Cardiff craft studio is holding a special jewellery making workshop on Saturday 3 December, for men only.
Calon Yarns holds regular courses and classes but the aim of this one is to get men to make a jewellery gift set for a special woman in their life.
The company was founded by Lynne Seymour and her brother Jon joined the team after being made redundant earlier this year. He says he’s looking forward to the class: “Sometimes in the craft environment men might get a little bit intimidated by predominantly females being around.”
Jon says many female customers have said they are hoping their partners will be joining in, “so they’ve said if he goes missing on the date they’ll know where he is.”
