An award-winning coffee shop is preparing to host a Glastonbury performer for its next evening of entertainment in the New Year.
Kizzy Crawford from Merthyr Tydfil, who performed on the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury 2014, will be playing at The Plan on 29 January.
Since July the independent coffee shop, voted one of the top fifty in the UK, has been holding food and arts evenings in the Morgan Arcade.
The Encore at The Plan events, held on the last Thursday of every month, feature new musicians, storytellers, poets and artists and also includes vintage clothes stalls.
Owner of The Plan, David explained, “ We’re looking forward to having Kizzy. Artists do like playing in this space. It’s very atmospheric with blankets and tea lights.”
