Local band dip into corporate weddings

Cardiff based eclectic duo The May Duo have plans to perform at more weddings within the next year or so.

The May Duo comprising of Helena-May Harrison and Gareth Evans formed last year and started off performing on the live scene with gigs at The Live Lounge.

They do regular sets at venues such as Porter’s, Soda Bar and The North Star, doing up to five gigs a week.

After establishing their work on the live scene the duo took up offers of performing at weddings. They have now decided that they want to perform at more weddings because they enjoy being part of a couple’s special day.

Helena-May Harrison said, “Knowing that your music made someone’s day makes performing even more special.”
