Three music promoters have come together to host a music festival that raises awareness of mental health issues in South Wales.
God is in the TV, Rockpie and Red Medicine have organised Mind Fest; a new music festival which takes place over three venues on November 23 and 24.
The aim of the event is to use music to showcase the services on offer, to tackle the stigma and raise money for Welsh charity, Cardiff Mind. Amongst the 40 acts taking part are Welsh favourites We’re No Heroes and The Adelines.
Bill Cummings, editor of God is in the TV, said: “I think it’s vital we promote well-being through creativity, and highlight the therapeutic services in the voluntary sector available to those who have problems.”
