What better way to spend Halloween than by experiencing a century’s worth of horror film?

Abertoir Horror Film Festival is taking over Chapter Cinema on 31 October for a night of  film extravaganza set to make your Halloween an unforgettable one.

Now in its third year running, Abertoir’s takeover event will feature an eclectic mix of genres and styles, including international short films, a Bad Film Club with live commentary, screenings of classic horror films and Welsh premieres of big-budget releases.

Nia Edwards-Behi, festival director, says, “Finding like-minded horror fans is always a bit of a treat, and of course Halloween is our favourite time of year. There’s nothing better than sitting in the dark, awaiting scares on the big screen, and it’s always better when there are people around to dissect the film afterwards!”
