Thanks to a series of free tours, visitors to Cardiff can learn of the more intricate details of the city’s history.
Huw Clarke, a resident of Cardigan, has been running a series of tours during his spare time, educating the public on the cultural aspects of Cardiff’s history.
Delivered with a passion that is second to none, the only motivation for Huw is educating others. During the walk, people are informed as to how and why Cardiff came to be the multi-cultural city it is today.
Intriguingly, Huw stated that, ‘The history of Cardiff lies on the idea, genius and wealth of a Scottish family and the hard of work of a lot African people. It is very un-Welsh if anything, but still fascinating’.
