Why an indie comic expo in Cardiff?
Event organiser Mike Allwood Says, “I have to say the Welsh talent pool may be among the best in the UK – I am not Welsh, this comes from the heart. And while the city has its own Media based shows, the spotlight at these events is away from the comic creators.”
When: 12 December, 10am-4pm
Where: Cardiff Masonic Hall
Further information
There will be small prizes for cosplaying public.
Tickets are on sale online. Due to safety restrictions, only a small number of tickets can be purchased on the day.

An alternative comic exposition is set to take stage in Cardiff just before Christmas.
On 12 December Cardiff Masonic Hall will host a public comic show focused on Welsh small publishers and creators rather than more commercial products.
Event organiser Mike Allwood says that out of the expo’s 35 tables only six will be dedicated to traders; the rest will be writers and artists.
“Local creators play a big role in the event,” Mike says. “This means lots of interaction at tables, and gives the public a chance to see the creative process and a lot of titles that their local may not stock.”
The event will expand in a bigger Independent Comic Exposition coming to Cardiff in the end of June.
