Bogiez joins the increasing list of venues which have shut down in Cardiff leaving many to speculate about the future of the music scene.
The rock nightclub on Kingsway in the city centre was shut down abruptly on 23 October. Due to a number of recent closures of music venues in the capital, many now question the future of the once thriving alternative music scene.
The club now joins venues in Cardiff such as Millennium Music Hall, The Venue, The Point and the Toucan Club who have recently had to resort to closure.
Bogiez has moved four times since opening and in a statement posted on their website, the manager has said they are looking into reopening at other venues but no plans have been confirmed yet.
