For the last twelve years, Chapter Arts Centre has been holding its own Oktoberfest, this year featuring a new selection of over thirty beers.
This new range is astounding; from the popular dark Köstritzer Schwarzbier, to the relatively obscure Schlöbberla Abbey Dubbel beer, there will be something for absolutely everyone.
Organiser Dave Morgan, Chapter’s bar manager, was clearly excited for the beer to start flowing, explaining that Oktoberfest is so successful because “it is an established cultural event.” Running from 5pm, between the 25 and 27 October, you can taste the great variety of beers that Germany has to offer for just £4.60 a pint.
There will also be homemade food, ranging from Welsh beef burgers to German Bockwurst, to help soak up the beer.
