After eight years, pop-punk band Save Your Breath announced last Monday that they are calling it a day in a statement on Facebook.
The band from Newport released their debut album, Vices, in 2011 and since then have toured the world and gained a loyal following. However, just ten days after bidding fellow Welsh rockers Kids in Glass Houses goodbye they announced their own split.
“They are fantastic performers who really give everything to each show they do,” says Beth Perry, a fan. “They will be missed in the Welsh music scene.”
It’s not all bad, though, as the band is doing one last UK tour in January. The tour will finish in Cardiff on 30 January at Clwb Ifor Bach. Tickets are available now.
