Charity celebrates 30th birthday with a night of fine music
Shelter Cymru are to mark their milestone birthday with a spectacular presidents’ fundraising concert, featuring the finest Welsh talent.
For the first time, Shelter Cymru President Bryn Terfel and Vice Presidents Cerys Matthews and Rebecca Evans, will come together to perform at St David’s Hall on 17 November.
The charity has offered support to vulnerable people in Wales for the past 30 years and the current economic climate means their work is more important than ever.
Fundraising officer, Deborah Docherty said, “We were looking for a really big flagship event to mark the 30th birthday celebrations. As well as celebrating we want to raise awareness and let people know we’re still here giving advice.”
The concert will also feature special guests, to be revealed on the night.
