Who are The Overtones?
The Overtones an all-male vocal group who blend classic 50s harmonies with a modern pop sensibility. The Overtones are the latest multi-album signing from the team behind Michael Bublé and Madonna at Warner Music.
The Overtones have been singing and performing together as a foursome for over five years – honing their classic sound and penning songs whilst working in a series of increasingly soul destroying jobs. The group then met bass vocalist and The Overtones were re-born as a five piece band.
Their sound can be traced right back to the vocal harmony groups of the 30s and 40s, through the stars of the doo-wop era of the late 50s and 60s, right through to modern day pop. With influences such as The Drifters, Amy Winehouse and Stevie Wonder, the five are set to take their unique blend of old school harmonic pop with a modern twist to the masses.

The Overtones are about to begin their Christmas venue tour- and their first stop is in Wales.
The vocal harmony quintet will take to the stage on 6 December in Swansea’s Brangywn Hall.
The tour comes with the release of their album Good Ol’ Fashioned Christmas, in shops 27 November.
The A Christmas Party with The Overtones tour is the first for the band since last year, and includes dates in both Swansea and a 15 December date at Venue Cymru.
Band member Timmy Matley is excited to begin their tour, “My dad is Welsh, so performing in front of Welsh crowds feels like home. We haven’t played in Swansea, but we always have a great time in Wales. We can’t wait to kick off the tour there.”
