Handmade Christmas and other projects
The Vintage Movie Club is just one of the many events and workshops run by Hubbard’s Cupboard.
One of Hubbard’s Cupboard’s most recent projects is the Handmade Christmas Campaign. The campaign encourages people from the local community and beyond to create and send in their handmade decorations to be sold in store.
All proceeds go to Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice. Hubbard’s Cupboard has also produced a blog following the progress of the campaign as well as sharing guest posts and tutorials. Visit the blog to see how you can get involved.

Cardiff’s Hubbard’s Cupboard has launched a Vintage Movie Club with events scheduled to take place every other week.
The High Street Arcade store opened its doors to vintage movie lovers for the first time last Friday.
Customers were treated to a showing of the 1953 rom-com How to Marry a Millionaire, featuring Marilyn Monroe.
Tickets for the event are £12 and must be booked in advance either in store or via Hubbard’s Cupboard’s online shop.
Organiser Sophie Creed said, “We hope the movie night will bring a bit of vintage glamour to Cardiff. Expect red carpet treatment with champagne and popcorn on arrival, served by our glamorous 50s usherette.”
The next event is a showing of Charade on 16 November at 18:30.
