An annual, prestigious awards ceremony, which celebrates the best Asian food in Wales, takes place this week.
The Asian Food Awards, which gives recognition to the finest Asian food restaurants, takeaways and culinary teams across Wales, will be held on October 31 at Cardiff’s City Hall. In South Wales, the three nominees for best restaurant are Mowglis Indian Restaurant and Lounge, Vegetarian Food Studio and The Royal India.
Award director, Imran Jabber, along with his colleagues Ana Miah and Julia Young, established the awards after noticing a gap in the market for recognising exceptional regional talent.
Imran said: “I decided that my aim would be to provide a platform for promoting the very best Asian eateries and to award their teams’ expertise and culinary achievements.”
