Event Details
There will be two sessions of Rumfest on 7 November, the first taking place from 12 to 3, the second one from 4 to 7.
Tickets cost £15, are limited, and are on sale online.
Participants will also be able to attend private tastings, generally reserved for the more expensive bottles.
There are nine confirmed brands, including Angostura Rum, El Dorado Rum and Old J Spiced Rum, although Rees said the organisers awaited a response from a few more brands before the event.
The festival has launched in Cardiff in 2013, and is in its third year.
Rumfest is open to everybody over 18.

If rum is your favourite tipple, make sure you circle 7 November on your calendar.
That Saturday the 2015 edition of Rumfest kicks off at Portland House, in the Bay area.
Event organiser Jonathan Rees says the event will feature tastings of a selection of offbeat rums from all over the Caribbean. Every brand will have its own table, where they will showcase up to four different kinds of rum.
Alongside tastings, there will be informative sessions, light music and some food.
“We want to offer a great experience”, said Rees, “and help people discover bottles they like, or make them curious to know more about rum.”
At the end of the day, participants can purchase any bottle they enjoyed.
