Spirit is launching at the Potted Pig, 9 December, 3pm-5pm.
A brand new magazine focusing on spirits celebrates its launch today.
With the spotlight for the first issue falling on gin, Spirit magazine will cover news and events, recipes and some of the city’s best bars and gin spots. There will also be a feature on Penderyn’s Brecon Gin. The magazine’s local focus proves that you don’t have to venture very far for a cracking gin and tonic.
The launch of Spirit will take place at The Potted Pig on Tuesday 9 December. Come along to sample the magazine and some of the bar’s incredible range of gin. Bar manager, Pedro Coutinho, will be on hand to talk all things gin and answer any questions.
The Potted Pig’s general manager, Georgina Heffernan, says, “People take a much bigger interest in what they drink now. Gin used to be a really old school drink, but it’s really coming back.”
