Local squatters and activists ‘The Gremlins’ are holding a fundraiser in aid of their new social community centre at the Bute Dock Hotel.
The fundraiser, which will take place at the Kebele Community Co-Op in Bristol, also aims to inform people about ongoing Cardiff campaigns. The evening will begin with a vegan dinner at 6.30pm for £2.50 (with dessert for an extra 50p), followed by short campaign clips and a free screening of the movie Gremlins.
One of the Gremlins, who did not wish to be identified for legal reasons, said that they would soon release more information on the Bute Dock squat: “There will be a report and communique soon from the Gremlins regarding the new project, including what the money is being raised for.”
