Young Carers
Being a carer can be challenging at any age but with the added pressure of balancing schoolwork as well as caring for a loved one, a young carer’s experience can be particularly difficult.

Cardiff Central Library will be hosting an event to support carers in Wales on November 29. This day will provide carers much needed guidance and information in looking after loved ones.
Coinciding with Carers Rights Day, the event will be from 10am to 4pm at the venue, which is based at the core of Cardiff’s bustling centre.
“There are still so many people who are caring for others in our communities who are unaware of the support services that are available to them,” Cabinet Member for Communities, Housing and Social Justice, Cllr Lynda Thorne said.
“The aim of this event is to provide people with relevant and up-to-date information that will help both them and the people they care for.”
