Former Cardiff devils star Jeff Smith set up the online campaign, Big Moose, in order to encourage people to regularly complete good deeds. The campaign allows people to share their experiences on their blog to encourage people to donate to projects such as Grab Your Coat.
Jeff Smith states, “I started a non profit company, with a view to try to leave the world better than when we found it, however that manifests itself. The name stands as a legacy for my best friend who I lost to the disease beginning with c, some seven years prior.”
Big Moose volunteers take to the streets providing haircuts for the homeless
The latest project Grab Your Coat aims to help look after the homeless this winter by providing them with donated warm clothes, food and even haircuts from volunteer hairdressers.
