Cardiff Council and S4C have announced plans to support young, local businesses with a £300,000 fund.
Businesses in Cardiff will receive between £25,000 and £100,000 in the hope of instigating jobs and economic development in the area.
VentureFest Wales 2015, recently at Cardiff’s Swalec Stadium, is an annual event held to bring entrepreneurs, investors and innovators together.
Chairman John Francis said: “It was clear at this year’s Venturefest Wales that there are a multitude of talented individuals and exciting businesses in the region, many of which could benefit from opportunities like these.
“The more funding options that are available to businesses and entrepreneurs, the better.”
Start-up companies and entrepreneurs interested in the scheme are being urged to contact Cardiff Council at the earliest opportunity.
