The Welsh Refugee Council will start talks with asylum seekers and refugees to help the Welsh Government in their plans to receive Syrian refugees.
Workshops and forums will be hosted by the Welsh Refugee Council over the coming months, to allow local communities to discuss how education, housing and healthcare will be provided for arriving Syrian refugees.
All of the organizations involved in the consultation, including the Red Cross, will submit their findings to the Welsh Government on 10 December.
Althea Collymore, Communications Officer at the Welsh Refugee Council, said, “We are working hard to gather information.
“We will be hosting different forums in Cardiff, Swansea and Wrexham.”
The revised Refugee and Asylum Seeker Delivery Plan will be published at the end of January.
