Pickpocketing occurs on average 15 times a week in Cardiff – that’s more than London
A new magazine is due to launch on at Cardiff University‘s Bute Building.
Uncuffed is a monthly magazine that covers crime in Cardiff and its surrounding area. It aims to make readers more aware of the less documented aspects of society and display crime in a realistic way.
The launch issue focuses on pickpocketing and includes feature pieces, historical cases and popular culture references to inform and entertain readers.

In this issue, magician and consultant to the police, Richard Parsons demystifies some of the questions surrounding pickpocketing.
“Pickpockets will tend to be opportunists, so they’ll go for the easy target and the soft target,” he says.
