“Definitely not. He’s a professional with skill and determination and in a privileged position. He has taken advantage of that and should have that privilege taken away from him. So should anyone who abuses their position.”

Convicted rapist Ched Evans wants to play professional football again following early release from prison. Sheffield United football club have denied offering the player a new contract but refused to rule out signing him again.
Ched Evans, 25, has claimed his innocence, despite being found guilty of rape and spending two and a half years in prison. Evans has referred to the rape as an ‘act of infidelity’ and publicly apologised to his girlfriend.
He has showed no remorse to his victim who has been publicly named online by trolls. Since her ordeal she has been forced to take on a new identity, move away from family and home and go into hiding.
