Stage One are part of the National Dance Company Wales (NDCW) and are showcasing their talent at the Dance House studios, the home of NDCW located at the Wales Millennium Centre, in a free ticket event.
Stage One is an initiative first thought up by Lee Johnston who began her career with National Dance Company Wales as a dancer and left as House Choreographer and Rehearsal Director earlier in 2014.
Bronwen Kenny-Jones, the artistic administrator for NDCW:
“Our aim is for dance artists in Wales to see the Dance House as a place where they can come to rehearse, be offered opportunities such as Stage One and given the support and advice they need to progress.”

Independent dance artists will be showcasing their latest concepts in a free interactive performance at the Wales Millennium Centre.
Stage One, part of National Dance Company Wales (NDCW), are showcasing extracts of work from Aleksandra Jones, Sarah Rogers and Michael Williams in an interactive performance on Friday 7 November where guests are invited to give their feedback and comment.
The free performance will take place at the Dance House Studios at the Wales Millennium Centre at 6.30pm and offers an opportunity for people to network and meet artists ahead of future productions, according to NDCW.
Bronwen Kenny-Jones, the artistic administrator at NDCW said, “Stage One gives dance artists working in Wales the opportunity to test out new ideas and concepts in front of a live audience.”
