Cardiff has a thriving music culture, so where can you get your earful? We took a look at a prime hotspot for under-represented talent: The Gate.
Cardiff is home to many mainstream music venues, but what if you want to delve a little deeper into musical talent? The Gate might just be what you’re after.
As a multi-purpose venue that opened in 2004 in a quiet corner of Cardiff, you could be forgiven for overlooking the musical performances it showcases.
Located in the former Plasnewydd Presbyterian Church, The Gate is home to a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere centered on the celebration of up-and-coming artists such as Lucy Rose.
For anyone looking broaden their cultural palette, this could and should be on your list of must-see venues.
