A weekend trip to Edinburgh
Take a trip to Scotland to experience great scenery and a nice glass of scotch with the kids in tow.
For just £300, you and your family could fly out for the weekend and stay at the Holiday Inn Express Dunfermline. The hotel includes one room with two double beds and breakfast.
While you’re there, check out Edinburgh Castle, go on a treasure hunt on the Edinburgh Old Town Treasure Trail or go on a spooky tour with the Mercat Tours. If your child is disabled, there’s a park called the Yard Edinburgh that is designed for all children to have fun in.
Rock ‘n Roll weekend at the Isle of Wight Festival
This family-filled festival is for the music lovers. With artists such as Liam Gallagher, The Killers, Depeche Mode and Kasabian, you and your family will be singing along all weekend long.
Kids of 12 years old and under have access to the festival for free, while adult tickets cost £209 per person. You can always make it a quick trip on Friday and Saturday for £140 per person.
You could stay in the nearby Gracellie Hotel for £243 for two people.

To get away from the stresses and strains of everyday life, this is the perfect holiday. Nothing but hills, greenery and farm animals as far as the eye can see is what you and your family can expect in this off-the-grid location. You’ll never want to go back to your normal lives again.
Hele Payne Farm holds up to six people for a week’s stay. For £390, you’ll be staying in a cottage that is a short drive to the beaches, Diggerland, Quad World and Crealy Adventure Park.
At the cottage, there’s a farm with animals for the little ones to fawn over, a playhouse, trampoline, pool and a place for you to practise fishing.

There’s plenty of shopping areas and a golf course for you and your family to enjoy. As well as beaches and three theatres. One place to definitely check out is Wavertree Botanic Gardens.
