Police are appealing for witnesses after a female cyclist was left in a critical condition following a collision with a gritting lorry.
The cyclist has what police describe as life-threatening and life-changing injuries after the incident at the junction of Custom House Street and St Mary Street in Cardiff city centre.
She is receiving treatment at the University Hospital of Wales where her condition is said to be critical but stable.
South Wales Police said it happened at 21:20 GMT on Thursday.
Custom House Street and Bute Street were closed for investigation but later reopened.
