Wales fly-half Dan Biggar looks set to play against England this Saturday despite suffering a knee-injury while playing for Northampton last weekend.
At a press conference earlier today, coach Sam Warburton said things were “looking positive” for Biggar, providing he passes more medical tests.
Wales have been struggling with injuries.
Both Josh Adams and Hallam Amos have been ruled out for the rest of the Six Nations tournament.
However, Josh Navidi and Liam Williams are in contention to play after missing all three of Wales’s games so far.
George North has also passed concussion tests, after he was knocked unconscious against France, with Warburton saying he was confident North would be one of the team.
England prop Mako Vunipola will not play on Saturday as he is currently self-isolating against coronavirus.
He has taken the precautionary measure after travelling back to the UK from Tonga, via Hong Kong.
Wales’s game against Scotland on the 14th March is still under review, with more cases of coronavirus expected in the U.K over the next few days.
When questioned at the press conference earlier today, Warburton said that coronavirus isn’t a concern for the squad.
The full Welsh team to face England will be announced on Thursday.
Wales will face England at Twickenham this Saturday at 4pm.
