In Ceredigion they recycle\u00a070% of their waste and Cardiff City Council wants the capital to match this amount by 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Council has launched a new campaign &#8220;Recycle Responsibly&#8221; to help people understand what can and can&#8217;t be recycled .<\/p>\n<p>It says\u00a0some people are confused about what should go in their bins with items such as food, shredded paper \u00a0and even dead animals being thrown into green recycling bins.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-16509 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/jomec.co.uk\/cjsnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/black-bins-1-217x122.jpg\" alt=\"bins gfx\" width=\"382\" height=\"215\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-16503\" src=\"http:\/\/jomec.co.uk\/cjsnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/recycling-1-217x122.jpg\" alt=\"Recycling Graphic\" width=\"384\" height=\"216\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Cabinet Member for the Environment, Cllr Bob Derbyshire, says &#8220;One of the things you notice with campaigns is people do things, but then slip back into old habits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;We need people to consistently recycle or there will be a negative impact on the environment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;If people think that it might be recyclable and it&#8217;s a dry item then they should put it in their recycling bags because we can always separate it later.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;The biggest problems come from wet items, shredded paper, and plastic bags being put in green bins.
